Napa Wine Producer Helps CiC Foundation

NAPA, Calif. – March 2011  –  Three Monkeys Wine, a local and acclaimed boutique artisan wine producer, has added Pat LaFontaine’s Companions in Courage Foundation to its philanthropic ‘Angel’s Share’ program that commits 10 percent of all wine sales to select children’s charities.

The winemakers located on the Silverado Trail in Napa Valley, produce super premium handcrafted wines from leading Napa appellations at affordable prices. Their Reverb label is a classic Bordeaux-style blend that was inspired over a bottle of 1996 Château Cheval Blanc, while their Benit label - a cabernet sauvignon - pays homage to the blessings of terroir that grace the highly acclaimed Stags Leap District. All of their wines can be purchased by visiting their website at www.threemonkeyswine.com.

Customers are given the option to designate one of four superb children’s charities as a beneficiary of a portion of their purchase price. Or, they can opt to have each charity benefit from the donation.

LaFontaine said, “My passion for fine wine is almost as intense as my interest in helping kids in hospitals. I am a big fan of Three Monkeys Wine and I am very grateful that they have elected to name the CiC Foundation as a beneficiary of future sales.”

Frank Bellizzi, proprietor of Three Monkeys Wine said, “Three Monkeys Wine is proud to support Companions in Courage. My partners and I are pleased that we can turn something we are passionate about into a benefit for children’s charities. We strongly believe in the critical value of the work that Pat and his foundation provide to children throughout North America, and we look forward to supporting their success for years to come.”

As a boutique artisan wine producer, production of Three Monkeys Wine is extremely limited. Wines are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, and as allocations are not guaranteed, early ordering is encouraged.

Supporters of the CiC Foundation are asked to visit the winemaker’s site, purchase some great wine and help children everywhere.

About the Three Monkeys Wine

Three Monkeys Wine (www.threemonkeyswine.com) began in 2003 when three college friends sought to make a barrel of compelling “house” wine. They were pleasantly surprised with the result and the buzz that their wine generated. They expanded their winemaking efforts and created a business that reflects a philosophy of creating, sharing and giving back.
