Dr.
Hunter "Patch" Adams |
|
Dr. Adams
founded the Gesundheit! Institute in
1972. His life was featured in the
movie Patch Adams, starring Robin
Williams. Adams is currently based
in Arlington, Virginia, where he
promotes alternative health care in
collaboration with the institute.

Charles Griffin |

“Chas”
Griffin is a pastoral
psychotherapist, author, and
educator based in western New York.
He is co-author of the book,
Companions in Courage - Triumphant
Tales of Heroic Athletes.

Dr. James Kelly |
|
Dr. Kelly
is a professor of neurosurgery at
the University of Colorado School of
Medicine and a neurologist at
University Hospital. He was formerly
Associate Professor of Clinical
Neurology at Northwestern University
and Medical Director of the Chicago
Neurological Institute. He received
the 1997 James Brady Award from the
Brain Injury Association of
Illinois. Dr. Kelly helped develop
severity and baseline-testing
criteria for the American Academy of
Neurology.

Dr. Jeffrey Minkoff |

Dr.
Minkoff is a prominent orthopedic
surgeon who has served as team
physician for various terms with the
Islanders, Jets, Knicks, Nets and
the Cosmos since 1973. He studied
(and later partnered with) Dr. James
Nicholas at Lenox Hill Hospital.
Minkoff later moved to New York
University Medical Center where he
was named Director of Sports
Medicine. He is currently in private
practice in Boca Raton, FL.

Valutis is a counseling
psychologist, sports consultant, and
writer based in Williamsville, New
York. He is co-author of the book,
